Donation - help Lykke!
31st of January this year there was a terrible accident! The Tennessee Walking Horse mare I'm Gold and Dangerous, also known as Dixie, was kicked in the head because she was let out on a wrong pasture. A pasture her owner Lykke Hansen had said she was not allowed to be on. Dixie was pregnant and the horses in that pasture had already driven her through the fence twice!
The vet was called and Dixie was stitched up, but already at that time, the chances weren't good, as the vet could tell Dixie had a fractured skull.
Lykke and her boyfriend fought for Dixie and her unborn foal's life for 3 days until they were forced to let her go. An autopsy revealed that Dixie had 2 skull fractures!
Dixie means everything to Lykke and the loss has been incredibly hard. We, who now Lykke, has suffered with her. It hasn't been hard to tell that she entirely lost her joy in life and that she missed Dixie tremendously! ugly nightmares has also been a part of Lykke's life for too long now...
Not even a "sorry" did she recieve from the person responsible for this!
Now, half a year later, Lykke finally found another horse that she would like to share her time with. Luckily for her, the colt belonged to Michelle Franchini, who surpassed everybody in generosity and donated the foal to Lykke!
Now Lykke only needs the money for the transportation of her new boy. Lykke had much adversity in life, and cannot work due to arthritis and an injury in her back, sustained from working on a riding school. This has made Lykke unable to work and what little support she recieved from the government, doesn't reach far.
Because of all this Michelle Franchini and I decided that it was enough bad luck for Lykke! We have started this donation to pay for the transportation of little Fonzie from USA to Denmark.
ALL donations goes exclusively to the transport costs!

Hvad går jeg op i når jeg fotograferer?
Når jeg er ude at fotografere, er det vigtigt for mig at kunne fange båndet mellem ejer og dyr. Selv hvis jeg kun tager billeder af dyret, vil det tit have blikket rettet mod ejeren og det er for mig tydeligt at se, at der er et enestående bånd, og man kan fange fx hundens blik i det rigtige moment, hvis man er hurtig på aftrækkeren.
Derudover går jeg meget op i, at baggrunden er så pæn som mulig, samt at billedet giver et godt indtryk af motivet.
